Much nicer weather today, cool and clear. Sarah sat up twice today and had her lunch in the sun room. Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Dodge of Starrs, Conn. called to see them today. Also Aletha and Mr. and Mrs. Alek Dean of the Yale Drama School. I had lunch in New Haven then drove to Waterbury and attended a meeting of the Executive Board of the Conn. Society of Master Painters and Decorators. I spoke to them on the matter of reducing the price of wall paper to the consumer. I drove back to Spring Glen to dinner afterwards. T.P.H. and I drove over to Westville and called on Nurse Williams and brought her niece Olive Kirtland back with us. Olive is planning to go to St. Paul with Sarah and Little Peter.
