Thursday, September 17, 1931 Much cooler and showery today. Grant Noble at our house to dinner. Helen and baby still up in the country. Mrs. Gere and Betty came in to see Little Peter today. I had supper down town and worked all the evening at the store arranging our No. 1 and No. 2 1932 Sample Books. As usual, we all gathered in Sally's room to visit with Little Peter while he was having his late evening bottle. Sarah got up and dressed for lunch and again sat up a while this evening.
