The New Year came in while I was "somewhere in New York state" between Buffalo and Albany on board the New England Wolverine train en route from St. Paul to New Haven. Just a year, Tessie and I were on the same train on our way home from Chicago. I arrived in Springfield at 7-55 A.M., checked my bags, got some breakfast, and called at the Spfld Store. Then caught the 9-20 train for home. Came out home, changed into my cutaway suit, and went down to Dwight Chapel on the Yale Campus to the wedding of Richmond Curtiss and Sally Walden. Attended the reception at the Walden home then went out to Violette's for supper. Came home and wrote to Tessie, who is still at St. Paul with Sarah and Peter. It was a lovely wedding. Called St. Paul on the telephone.
