Sunday, January 3, 1932 A fine clear day. Cool but not cold. I arose at eight o'clock, fed "Mitzie", got ready, drove in town, got some breakfast at the Waldorf lunch, corner of High and Chapel Streets. Taught my men's class at Calvary Church School. Attended church service. Mr. Blanton preached and Prof. William Lyon Phelps officiated at the Communion Service. I drove down to Norwalk and had dinner with Fred and Alice Lockwood. I spent the afternoon with them. Ruby Weed was there so I brought her back to her home in Hamden. We stopped and called on Carrie Tripp Menoin who is very ill then went on and called on Auntie "B" and Uncle, then home. Richmond and Sally returned tonight from their short honeymoon and will stop with Violette until their house is ready.
