Monday, January 4, 1932 Another fine day. Busy all the morning. After lunch, I bought some carnations and went over to the New Haven Hospital and called on Betty Beele Robb and her brand new daughter. I was fortunate enough to see both Betty and the baby. She is a dear little thing. They have named her Elizabeth Jane. Betty hopes to go home Thursday. Went up to the Prattonia for supper. Visited with Stella Pratt while eating. Went back to the store and worked on our Wall Paper records. Came home and wrote to Tessie and Sally at St. Paul, Minn. Not a bit of snow on the ground.
