Tuesday, January 12, 1932 Received a letter form Tessie written and mailed from St. Paul on Sunday. She said the thermometer was down to zero and about eighteen inches of snow on the ground. She is nearly frozen. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. Paul Kieser came in also glad to see him. Had dinner tonight at Ed and Alice Cole's at the apartment corner of Chapel St. and Winthrop Ave. Charming little dinner. Left at about 8-30 and went back to the store and worked on my Wall Paper Books. Wrote to Tessie, who is still out to St. Paul with Peter and Sarah and little Peter.
