Quite warm today. Drove in town. Cared for my mail. Worked on Wall Paper records then drove over to Waterbury to the Annual Convention of the Conn. Society of Master Painters. Attended the afternoon session then had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hall. Attended smoker in Temple Hall later in the evening. This was a stag affair and it was a good thing the ladies were not allowed. Deacon F. Herbert Cram of Calvary Church died tonight peacefully in his home. Jennie was at prayer meeting at Calvary. On my home from Waterbury tonight, I came up on a wrecked auto turned over on the car tracks on account of the dense fog. I took three girls from the party into New Haven.
