Another fine day. Cold this morning but clear and grew warmer during the day. Mr. Turner was plowing his fields this morning down here on Whitney Ave. Little Peter is five months old today. Attended Rotary luncheon today at Hotel Taft. All those born in January sat at a special table and wore red carnations. We arose and sang "Jingle Bells". Mayor Murphy of the City of New Haven spoke to us on the financial situation. I drove up to Meriden and called at Chittenden's Paint Store. Had dinner at home then drove in town. Called for Mrs. Frank Smith and went to the Yale Theatre to see the four one act plays put on by the students. They were all very good.
