Very much like a March day today, breezy but clear and mild. Busy all day long on Wall Paper orders going out and coming in. Working hard to get out our Sample Books. Tessie called for me tonight and we came home and had dinner here. I worked all the evening writing up orders for advertising materials for our Murphy Varnish customers. The Powers are most anxious over the action of Japan landing troops in Shanghai, China. U.S. and England protesting.
