Friday, January 29, 1932 Rain hard all day long. Not so cold here. Franklin drove to Springfield and telephoned down that he was leaving his automobile there and would come home on the train on account of the rain freezing as it fell and the roads were all ice. I went up and called on Mrs. Noble Ellis today. Poor dear. She is missing Noble so much but she is brave. Tessie called for me tonight and we took Georgie home then came home and had dinner. I spent the whole evening writing up the records of the New Haven Grays. We had a letter from Sarah at St. Paul. She tells us that Little Peter is beginning to creep around in his crib.
