A beautiful clear day but very cold this morning and for the reason that it was cold, I had a hot fire in the furnace and that meant hot radiators. Baby Pam Davis fell out of her low chair and her hand landed on the hot radiator and burned her badly. We put unguentine right on it and called Dr. Loy who came down and dressed it and bandaged it all up, which relieved her at once. The poor little dear was so terrified. We all had dinner together then they packed up and started back to Plainfield, New Jersey about four o'clock. They brought up with them Brownie and Ruth Beckley Brown to see her folks. That was so kind of them. We sent a night letter to Ralph Lankler to spend the night with us next Wednesday when he will be in New Haven to Ellsworth Richardson ordination.
