Very cold this morning. Thermometer down to sixteen above zero, about the coldest day this Winter. Had lunch downtown today as I had some errands to do. Tessie attended luncheon and meeting of New Haven Colony of New England Women at Y.M.C.A. I attended a meeting of Camp Committee of Boys Scouts at Faculty Club, 149 Elm Street. Prof. Suttie, Chairman, served tea. Tessie called for me at the office and we came home and had dinner here. The new Y.M.C.A. at Chapel Street and Howe Streets was dedicated yesterday. About 3000 people attended.
