Sunday, February 7, 1932 A beautiful Winter day. Mild, but with the snow, the country is just wonderful. Got up, had breakfast, and drove into town to Calvary Church. Taught my mens class at church school. Then attended church service and communion. Prof. William Lyon Phelps, our honorary pastor, conducted the communion service. Tessie did not go in to church, not feeling very well. I brought the Graner family out to Spring Glen. We had dinner at home and afterwards, I wiped the dishes and we spent the afternoon reading and writing letters. I wrote to Sally at St. Paul.
