Tuesday, February 9, 1932 Quite cold again this morning, 20° above zero. Busy at store all day on Wall Paper orders and Wall Paper Books. Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft Ball Room. Mr. A.J.J. Fifer, an American resident of England for many years, spoke to us of "Conditions in England". I met with our membership committee of Rotary at Don Adam's office at 5-15 P.M. Talked over many proposed members. Met Tessie at the store and we came home and spent the evening here. I worked on Wall Paper records. Violette and Lota called. Lota is having a few days vacation from Smith College while the other students are taking mid year's examinations. She is on the president's list and have to take no examinations.
