Monday, February 15, 1932 Clear and cold today. Thermometer down to 18°. Went in town on the trolly car so that Tessie could sleep. Worked all day long finishing up our inventory. Mrs. Wood is still out ill so I had "Polly" come in and help me. Went down to the church to supper and attended a Board Meeting of the Official Board. Adopted a tentative budget and voted our approval of Mr. Blanton wearing a robe in the pulpit if he so desired. Went back to the store and worked till 10-30. Tessie, who had been to a D.A.R. entertainment at Trinity Parish House with Maud Smith, called for me.
