Washington's birthday today. We closed the stores all day. Harley and Franklin, Miss Radcliffe worked a part of the forenoon. I worked up to one o'clock finishing up our Wall Paper Bible for 1932. Came home and Tessie and I had dinner together. Then I split up a lot of firewood. Mrs. Knapp called to see us. She was out for a walk and stopped in. We had supper then dressed and drove over to the Plymouth Church and acted with Mr. and Mrs. Blanton as host and hostess to a group of Calvary Church young people who were holding a dance there. They had a happy time.
