Wednesday, February 24, 1932 Very cold and raw. Took the car in town this morning and after taking care of my mail, Mr. Hyde and I drove out to Ridge Road to see the Wall Papers on the Treathouse. Later, I drove to Wallingford and spoke at the Rotary Club meeting, it being their ninth anniversary. I stopped at the house on my way back and took Tessie in town with me. Allan D. Colvin of New London stopped in to see me. Harley went up to Springfield store on the train. Tessie called for me tonight and we came home to supper and for the evening.
