Thursday, February 25, 1932 Very cold this morning. Thermometer down to 12°. Had lunch down at "Waldorf Lunch", cor High and Chapel St. Then walked on downtown and paid some bills. Mrs. Wood still at home sick. "Polly" also home with hard cold. Tessie called for me tonight at six o'clock and we went out to Fred and Lin Lincoln's to dinner. Harley and Alice were also invited as was Violette and Clayton but they could not go as Clayton had a lot of diplomas to engross. We had a lovely dinner and then just sat down and talked over old times till a late hour. It was so good to visit with these old friends.
