Cloudy and some rain. Went in to Calvary Church and taught the mens class and attended church service. Mr. Blanton wore his pulpit gown for the first time this morning. He looked so well in it. The Ladies Society of the Church provided it for him. I brought Mrs. Williams out to her home after church. Tessie and I had a nice dinner of chicken and strawberry shortcake (first of the season) then we drove out to Westville and had tea with Rich and Sally Curtiss. They have a most comfortable and attractive home and are as happy as can be.
