Like a Spring-like day. Clear and bright sunshine, rather cool, but fine. Busy at office till six o'clock. Mrs. Wood still sick at home, four and a half weeks now. I called there this noon and found her sitting up, much better but still very week. Tessie brought the car in and we called for Mr. and Mrs. Blanton and took them over to the Edgewood Club to a chicken pie supper. We stayed a while. I danced with Mrs. Blanton then we took them home and came home ourselves. Another whole day without news of baby Lindbergh. Radio and newspapers continue to enumerate clues but no real news and no baby. We continue to pray for his safety.
