Monday, March 7, 1932 High winds, rain, snow, cold. Letter from Sally this morning. Very cold out in St. Paul, below zero temperature. Lunch in Longley's. Meeting at Curtiss and Pierponts office at two o'clock regarding D.J. Stevens note at the closed Broadway Bank. Tessie called for me at six o'clock and we drove up to Mrs. Wood's house and left a whole cooked chicken for her. No positive news about the Lindbergh baby. Much talk over the radio and in the newspapers but not a word of where the baby is.
