Very cold this morning, thermometer down to 20°. Icy wind blowing. Had Tessie rest this morning. Went down to take trolly car. George Johnson picked me up and took me in town, had breakfast at Longley's. Attended Rotary meeting of New Haven Club at Hotel Taft. Also attended meeting of Rotary Club membership committee at Don Adams' office at 5:15. Went over quite a list of possible members. Got some supper at P. Ring's then went back to office and worked till ten o'clock. Tessie drove in and brought me out home. Again, the day and night passes without news of the Lindbergh baby. Police think they have some hot clues.
