Friday, March 11, 1932 Quite a bit warmer today. Thermometer about 20°. In to the office this morning. Tessie took me in. She kept a dentist appointment with Dr. John O. Camp. Mr. Lloyd of the W.H.S. Lloyd Co. came up from New York to see us. We had lunch together upstairs next door at "Cafe Biondi", a student joint. Letter from Mrs. Wood today sad she hoped to be in to the office Monday. She has been ill four weeks and a half. Tessie and I dressed and drove over to the new Armory on Goffe Street to the annual Ball of the New Haven Grays. Met quite a few old friends there. Veteran members of the Grays. The Armory looked very nice all in blue and white bunting and pretty lights. We came home about one o'clock.
