Sunday, March 13, 1932 Cold Marchy wind blowing all day. Bright sunshine though after breakfast. Tessie took in to Calvary Church in the Packard. She came back home, got ready herself, and later went in to St. Paul Church. I taught my mens class and attended church service. Mr. Blanton preached another powerful sermon. Tessie called for me after church and just as we were starting off, who should we see but Jack and Doris Newton of Holyoke, Mass. We had a little chat. We had dinner at home. Mrs. Knapp and the Stone children called. I went over to the little Spring Glen Church service tonight. Dr. McIntosh of Yale Divinity School preached.
