Tuesday, March 15, 1932 Very cold again this morning. Down to twelve above zero. Attended luncheon of the New Haven Rotary Club at the Hotel Taft and introduced a new member, John H. Bawker, the "Better Brushes" man. Harley and I borrowed some more money on our copartnership insurance today to help us over this dreadful financial depression. We do so hope that things will pick up pretty soon. Dorothy Memmott Gordon with her little son John called to see me today. My, but he is a fine boy. Was glad to see them both. Tessie and I had dinner at home tonight.
