Rain this forenoon, cleared this afternoon. Worked till 5 o'clock. Took the Packard in this morning to have George was of some of the Hamden mud since they dug up the streets here in Hamden to install sewers. The streets are terrible. We had supper at home. I have been writing a letter to Rev. James McGee of Flint, Michigan, a former pastor of Calvary Church. He sent me a lovely booklet, which the ladies of the Flint Church got out as a memorial to Mrs. McGee, who died a while ago. We had a letter from Sarah today. They hope to come back East about May fifteenth. We shall be so glad to see them all.
