Sunday, March 20, 1932 Palm Sunday. I took the nine o'clock trolly car in town so as to leave the car for Tessie as she wanted to go in to St. Paul's Church early. They have confirmation today then new Bishop Budlong was to officiate for the first time. I went to Calvary and taught the mens class, staying to church service afterwards. Mr. Blanton preached. Tessie called for me and Mr. and Mrs. Blaston invited us to go up to the "Prattonia" and have dinner with them. This we were glad to do. We came out home afterwards. Gordon Stevens called regarding the Hamden Republican Caucus. Alice Cole and Millie Sutherland called to borrow some furniture for the Yale Drama School play. We called Sarah on the telephone at St. Paul, Minnesota. It was so fine to hear her dear voice. They are all well.
