Tuesday, March 22, 1932 Pouring rain this morning. Freezing as it fell, making of the roads a sheet of ice. We did not dare take the car out so I went in on the trolly car. My how it did pour. It warmed up during the day so that traffic could become more normal. I attended Rotary Club luncheon at Hotel Taft. Went to Coomb's Flower Shop to see about the flowers for Easter at Calvary Church. Attended a meeting of the Executive Board to pass resolutions on the death of Edward J. Moriarty of Broadway. Tessie called for me tonight and we had dinner at home. I spent the evening writing a resolution for Ed Moriarty. This is Doris' birthday. She would have been thirty years old today. It does not seem possible.
