A fine, clear, but still quite cold. Had lunch with Ed Fischer at the Quinnipiack Club, first time I have been there to lunch for a good many weeks. Been eating at less expensive places. Ray Reigeluth called for me tonight at six o'clock and we went out to Milford to a intercity meeting arranged by the Milford Rotary Club. Governor Paul Kieser of Springfield was there. He spoke as did also Rev. George Lockland of the First M.E. Church of New Haven. I rode back home with Paul and Tessie and I hoped to keep him all night but he thought he better go on home so as to be at the office early in the morning.
