Thursday, March 24, 1932 Quite cold but clear and bright. Worked on the top floor of the York Street building rearranging the old office records. George Williams helped me. Had lunch over to Pat Ring's. Tessie called for me and we had dinner at home then drove in to the Yale Theatre. Called for Mrs. Frank G. Smith on the way in. The play was "American Wing" by Talbot Jennings. Not a very pleasing play but the sets and lighting was wonderful. We took Mrs. Smith home on our way home. Found Mrs. Knapp here when we arrived. She is to spend the night with us as they have house full of company.
