Friday, April 8, 1932 Sunshine and shadow. Still cold. Worked all day at York Street office. Tessie called for me at six o'clock. We came home and had dinner here then dressed and drove over to Dr. Frank Parson's house to a musicale. Henry and Dr. Persons played on the organ. Forace Smith sang a group of songs. His wife accompanied him. A young lady gave a monologue and a reading. It was a lovely program in a lovely setting.
