Sunshine and shadow a-la April. Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft. Mauly Chester gave us a fine moving picture talk on his trip to Alaska and the Arctic. I went down on State Street and called on Edward N. Wooding, cousin of my friend Ray Wooding, of Wallingford. Also called on Herman Wahler's Wall Paper store. Tessie called for me at six and we drove down to West Haven to Rainbow Inn and attended the dinner of the Connecticut Wall Paper and Paint League.
