Thursday, April 14, 1932 Clear but cold. Intended going up to Springfield store today but Harley wanted me to stay in New Haven to go down to see Frank Frisbie at the Mechanic's Bank. He could not see us finally so I stayed at store all day. I came home and had dinner. Then Tessie and I drove over to the Edgewood Club to a party given by Charles Lincoln's church school class. They played bridge and parlor games then had refreshments. We took home Florence Fischer, Mrs. Blanton, and Mary Ewaskis.
