Fine day today and much more mild tonight. Had my lunch at Pat Ring's on Elm Street. Afterwards, I went down to the Mechanic's Bank and got $320.00 in gold to take to Springfield tomorrow to give to District Governor Paul Kieser as a gift from all the clubs in the District. Allan D. Colvin and Mrs. Colvin called at the store today for a few minutes. Supper down at Calvary Church tonight followed by a meeting of the "Board". Would appear that we will end Mr. Blanton's first year without a deficit and pay our missionary apportionment in full. Arthur Hotchkiss brought me home. This is our 33rd wedding anniversary. Sorry that the condition of our business did not permit our celebrating.
