Thursday, April 21, 1932 Very warm today, like Summer. When we arrived home last night, Tessie found a telegram from her brother Charles telling us of the death of his daughter Eleanor. Tessie left his noon for their home at Dover, New Hampshire and the funeral. She died of T.B. I worked till seven thirty watching the unloading of seventy barrels of linseed oil from Edgewater, N.J. shipped on a motor truck and a trailer. Had supper and took the trolly out to Wellington Gilbert's house to consider a slate of officers and committees for the Spring Glen Club. He has a lovely home.
