Another lovely day but very much cooler. I got up and drove in town. Had breakfast then taught my class at Calvary Church School. Attended church service also Mr. Blanton preached another of his fine sermons on "Finer than Gold". I went down town to the telegraph office looking for a telegram from Tessie on her way home from Dover, New Hampshire. I had dinner in "Child's", Church Street corner of Crown. Came home. Telegram came later from T.P.H. telling me on what train she would come on. I drove in town to the church to a meeting of the nominating committee. Went from there to the station to meet Tessie at 6-25 Daylight Saving Time, which began this morning at two A.M. and will be in affect till the last Sunday in September.
