Thursday, April 28, 1932 Thermometer read 32° this morning with a heavy frost. This is a record drop for as late as this in April. Took the car in to town. Took care of my mail then ran down town to the foot doctor and had her treat my feet (my, what a relief). Came back. Drove out home. Picked up Tessie and drove to the Springfield store. We had lunch at the Kimball Hotel. Tessie did some shopping then went out and called on Mr. and Mrs. George Roberts. I worked at the store then called for her there. After a call, we drove down home and had dinner here. Much warmer tonight.
