Tessie took me into church school this morning. I taught my mens class, stayed to church service and communion. I was pouring rain when we came out of church. Tessie called for me and we drove down to Norwalk to spend the day and night with Alice and Fred Lockwood. We had a lovely dinner then, as it had cleared off, we went for a walk of about a mile. Alice had invited Judge and Mrs. Lockwood to supper and to spend the evening. We went to bed in Alice' most restful guest room. We have had such a quiet good day.
