Monday, May 2, 1932 We woke up in Alice Drew Lockwood's lovely guest room at Norwalk, Conn. We had breakfast at eight thirty then Alice and Tessie drove down to Stamford and Fred and I did some errands down town. Later, I drove out to Fountain Inn and had lunch with the Norwalk Rotary Club. Then I hurried back to Alice's and got Tessie and we came home. I stopped off at the store and Tessie came home. She called for me at six o'clock and we went down to the First Congregational Church of West Haven to a big supper, the guests of Don and Flossie Stirling. Stopped at their house on the way home.
