Wednesday, May 4, 1932 Warm and Spring-like today. Got up early and to the store by 7-30. Mrs. Wood away today on her day off at her own expense. I did as much of her work as possible. Had lunch at Hotel Taft with Andy Gibson of Becker Smith and Page Co. Wall Paper Manufacturers. Tessie had lunch at Calvary Church, guest of Violette. This was their annual luncheon and business meeting. At home to dinner tonight then went over to the Spring Glen Club to a bowling contest with the Edgewood Club bowlers. Lunch was served. I brought Bill and Bessie Jackson home with me to see Tessie.
