Tonight, went down to the church to supper and the annual meeting of the church school. Mr. Thomas F. Richardson was again elected superintendent. I came home on the trolly car. Mrs. Knapp at the house with Tessie. I walked home with her. Paul Doumer, President of France, was assassinated today by a Russian fanatic in Paris. He lived almost twelve hours after being shot.
