Still very cold. Overcoats being worn by everyone. Furnace fires in full blast. In to the store by seven-thirty. Helped out on the floor down stairs. Murphy, Mrs. Lane, George Olson, and Fred Marks out today. Had lunch in Longley's. Tessie called for me tonight and we had dinner at home in the breakfast nook. I went up to the Spring Glen Club to a Board of Governors meeting. This is Violette's and Clayton's wedding anniversary and Richmond's birthday. May they all live long and prosper. Supreme Court of the State has declared that the temporary injunction placed on the quarry company, who were blasting away the head of the "Sleeping Giant", be made permanent.
