Sunday, May 15, 1932 Very warm today all of a sudden. Thermometer went up above 80°. Tessie took me in to Calvary Church to church school and later service. She came in to St. Paul's Church then called for me. We had dinner at home then I worked all afternoon putting in the window screens and hanging four screen doors. Drove into Calvary Church tonight to preside at the evening service conducted by the mens club of Calvary. Came home and had supper with Tessie then went across the street to Brownie Nettletons at his request to talk over the coming election at the Spring Glen Club, not having heard anything from Sarah, I called St. Paul and found that they had started for Mason City on Saturday and hope to leave there for the East on Wednesday.
