Friday, May 20, 1932 The sun was quite warm today but the wind was cold. The furnace fire feels quite nice tonight. Busy on the floor all day today. Mr. Garhaus away. Workers are busy tearing down the old Yale Gymnasium on Elm Street between York Street and High Streets to make way for completing the "House Plan" dormitory on the whole block York to High. The new gym on York Square is nearly completed. Spent the whole evening painting dahlia sticks. We suppose Peter, Sarah, Little Peter, and "Peggy" are on their way home. Either in Chicago or have just left there.
