Yes, Lindbergh landed in Paris just five years ago today, flying from New York to Paris. Today, five years later, Amelia Earhart Putnam made the flight alone from Harbor Grace, Newfoundland landing at Culmore Ulster County, Ireland. She is the first woman ever to fly the Atlantic Ocean alone. She made the crossing in 14 hours and 54 min, which is a time record for the distance covered. Home to dinner tonight.
