Friday, May 27, 1932 Cloudy and foggy this morning. Thunder shower tonight and quite a bit of rain. We need rain so badly here. Peter and Sarah took Peggy and Nurse Williams over to Essex. Nurse to spend the holiday. Peggy home for good. Sarah thinks she can get along all night without her. Sarah and Peter having dinner with Miss Katherine Jewell Evarts. Mother and I are taking care of the grandson. Yale is tearing down the old gymnasium to make room for the completion of a house plan dormitory. The new gym on York Square is about finished. Yale announced a new plan for "Athletics for All". Cutting down the number of varsity games, increasing the "house" group games.
