Sunday, May 29, 1932 Cloudy day and quite cool because of no sun. We all had breakfast together. Peter, Sally, little Peter, and us. Then I drove in to Calvary Church, taught my mens class in church school, and attended morning service. Passed the plate at the offering. Brought Mr. and Mrs. Graner and Dorothy out home. Also Mrs. Diednickson and son on the way out. Mother had dinner early for us as Sally and Peter wanted to go for a hike with Ed and Alice Cole and then Bill and Elizabeth Root were coming down from Pittsfield to see us and talk over the job of District Governor of Rotary with me. He starts his year on July first. We had tea for them. We took care of Peter while Sally was out and enjoyed him so much. He is such a dear.
