A beautiful June day. Clear and hot. Really quite hot. I took the car in town this morning, got my lawn mower at Thompson's Saw Shop on Temple Street. Called at Calvary Church House to see Mr. Blanton to ask him to teach my class tomorrow while I go to Northampton to hear Lota play the bells. Worked till about 3-30 then Peter and Buddy came to the store and we all came out in the Packard car. We found Mary Frances Stout here at the house. So glad to see her. Peter and Buddy drove up to Stockbridge in the Ford and will stay all night and meet us in Northampton tomorrow noon. The rest of us all had dinner here at home.
