Monday, June 6, 1932 This has been an eventful day today. In the first place, it has been the hottest day of the Summer so far. 87°. Then, we had Peter Hodges Barker baptized today at St. Paul's Church. Grant Noble performed the ceremony. Buddy Wicks was Godfather and Alice Cole was Godmother. Peter behaved beautifully (as of course he would). Afterwards, the whole party with Helen and "Sunny" Noble and Ed Cole went to the Quinnipiac Club for lunch as our guests. Tonight, I drove down to Wilcox's Savin Rock to an Executive Board Meeting of S.N.H. County Council Boy Scouts. It was terribly hot in the city but cool at the shore.
