Monday, June 20, 1932 Cloudy but some warmer. Took the Packard in town to get starter fixed. Peter had to help me get it started this morning by pushing it down the driveway. Meeting this afternoon of the depositors of the closed Mechanics Bank at the Shubert Theatre on College Street. The theatre was packed from pit to dome. Donald A. Adams was acting chairman, then was elected permanent chairman. A committee of five were selected who in turn will select fifteen others to act as a depositors committee. Got my supper downtown tonight then attended Board Meeting of Calvary Baptist Church. Peter left today for Stockbridge. Sally and the baby will remain with us at least for the present.
